- Fresh salad
- Olive oil
- Fig-Chili Vinegar Cream as a dressing
Preparation
- Wash the green asparagus, trim off the woody ends, and lightly peel the bottom third if necessary.
- Cut the asparagus into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat the roasted sesame oil in a large pan or wok.
- Add the asparagus pieces and fry over high heat, turning occasionally, for about 5–7 minutes until crisp.
- Just before the end of the cooking time, add the Chili Allrounder Seasoning and fry briefly with it.
- Sprinkle the roasted green asparagus with Sea Salt Flakes and, if desired, serve with roasted sesame seeds.
- The asparagus tastes particularly delicious with a fresh salad dressed with olive oil and Fig-Chili Vinegar Cream.
Tip for the Asian version: Briefly sauté the garlic and freshly grated ginger in the roasted sesame oil, then add the green asparagus and fry until crisp. Deglaze with soy sauce, continue frying briefly, and sprinkle with roasted white or black sesame seeds to taste.
